What you’ll be doing

As the new Business Intelligence Developer, you’ll be reporting to the VP of Product and join a team of dynamic developers. You will play a key role in creating custom BI reports and dashboards within the SaaS solution. This position is dedicated to developing external, client-facing analytics solutions that tap into the power of the company’s data and AI-driven platform, providing the company’s clients with profound insights to inform their Revenue Cycle Management strategies.

Practically speaking you will:

·       Develop custom Revenue Cycle Management reports to enhance client processes and efficiency.

·       Identify opportunities for new BI service offerings in the Revenue Cycle Management space, leading the development and implementation of these initiatives.

·       Impact and improve the client processes by developing custom reports and introducing new BI service offerings.

·       Optimize SQL queries and data cubes to improve the performance and speed of reporting.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality BI solutions that meet client needs.

·       Contribute to the growth of the BI team by sharing knowledge and best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

The Details

 

This is a full-time remote permanent position with a preference for those located in the Greater Toronto area. Qualifications

·       BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

·       5 + years of experience in developing custom BI solutions, preferably within a SaaS environment.

·       Deep proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and extensive knowledge in database and SQL development.

·       Advanced proficiency in Python for effective data manipulation and building efficient data processing pipelines.

·       Proven track record of working successfully in a team environment on the development and delivery of enterprise-level Power BI solutions.

·       Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a strong orientation towards client-focused solutions.

Strong asset:

·       Knowledge of accounting principles, to better inform the financial and operational insights provided through the BI tools.

·       Experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to enhance the analytical depth of BI reports.

·       Exceptional ability to use data to tell compelling stories, translating complex datasets into clear, understandable, and actionable insights for clients and stakeholders.
