 Manager, Compuetrized Asset Management System – Maximo

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Associate Director, Asset Management, The Manager, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is responsible for strategy, planning, implementation and performance of related to the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system in support of Asset Management best practice and true cost of ownership for all GTAA infrastructure assets. The CMMS Manager is the primary point of contact for the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and its related interfaces and/or applications; ensuring they meet the needs of  management and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

  • • Lead and maintain a well-managed business unit within budget aligned to the Strategic Plan
  • • Coach, mentor and lead team members to maximize the contribution
  • • Collaborate with various business units to ensure business trends are identified and aligned to the system capabilities and technical functionality
  • • Manage all continuous improvements and change related to the system
  • • Responsible for business planning and management of the system the business unit will include all associated systems (RMax (Maximo), SCADA Interfacing, Akwire etc.), web sites and electronic whiteboard
  • • Maintenance of the system and retention of all maintenance records
  • • Analyze and assess site operations, assets and PM practices to ensure a complete and reliable PM program is accurately reflected within the system
  • • Maintaining regular reporting and SLA Management as it pertains to system data through dashboards, system reports and adhoc report development
  • • Create and maintain accurate regulatory compliance reporting related to GTAA asset work programs
  • • Develop and manage key processes with Engineering Project Delivery and the Asset Management team to ensure any new or modified assets from a Capital or O&M project are imported/updated into the EAM System
  • • Develop and manage system related procedures, manuals and documentation database management to ensure data integrity and completeness
  • • Ongoing review of the EAM asset database to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • • Develop and provide all formal and informal training in the use of the system and its related applications in line with stakeholder/customer needs
  • • Provide training, understanding and support to all Airport Planning and Technical Service (APTS) management for system functionality, reporting and dashboards
  • • Provide reports and strategic input to all levels of APTS to support strategic decision making and business cases that will include staffing analysis and contracted maintenance management and sourcing alignment

 

 

Qualifications:

  • • Must possess a Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
  • • Minimum 5 years’ experience in People Management (direct report or cross-functional) in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • • Experience with the implementation of enterprise systems to include mobile functionality is strongly preferred
  • • Strong working knowledge of Maximo
  • • Hands on knowledge and experience with SQL programming
  • • Experience managing people in a unionized environment will be considered an asset
